East Lansing Advanced Standing Program
Program Snapshot
Summer start, flexible coursework, and advanced standing study options
Classes are mostly face-to-face and take place on the East Lansing campus. Most classes are during the day with some evening options available.
All students attend New Student Orientation in May on the East Lansing campus.
First required classes start in the Summer with face to face and/or online classes.
Students complete a minimum of 36-credits and a total of 500 hours of field education.
Field Education
Students are in field for 16 hours a week scheduled during normal business hours (8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday). Part-time students are in field during their second year. Visit our Field Education home page for more information.
Program Options and Specialization
Full-time (1-year) and part-time (2-year) options are available.
Students choose either a Clinical Practice or an Organizational Community Leadership (OCL) area of specialization.
