Calling all Alumni

We are so proud of the thousands of Spartan social work alumni. The success of our School depends on our alumni and friends who engage in volunteer efforts and other service opportunities. We’d love for you to get engaged with the school; there are many opportunities to support us through charitable giving and volunteering.

Charitable Giving

Your gifts improve the quality of education for a new generation of social workers prepared to address the challenges of our times. We are grateful for your financial support of any amount that you can afford!

You can give to the School's Development Fund, which provides general support for students, faculty, and programs. You also may give to any of our Special Endowment and Gift Funds, which have been created to fund specific community programs, scholarships, or research.

You can donate to any of our funds online through MSU's Online Giving system or donations can be mailed directly to the School.

Volunteer

Become a Field Instructor or Field Faculty Liaison

The School has BASW and MSW students in field placements across Michigan, and community members teach and mentor these students as field instructors and field faculty liaisons. Please contact Julie Navarre for more information.

Make a Community Education Presentation

The School has a large Continuing Education Program with diverse class offerings. We welcome your interest in becoming a presenter in your area of expertise.
