Face-to-face learning, field education, and full- or part-time study options


57 credits minimum 960 field hours Full- and part-time options East Lansing campus

Classes are mostly face-to-face and take place on the East Lansing campus. Most classes are offered during the day with some evening classes available.

All students attend New Student Orientation in August on the East Lansing campus.

First required classes start in the Fall with most classes occurring in the Fall and Spring semesters.

Students complete a minimum of 57-credits and four semesters of field for a total of 960 field hours.


Field Education

Students are in field for 16 hours a week scheduled during normal business hours (8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday). Field education is conducted during the fall and spring semesters. Visit our Field Education home page for more information.

Program Options and Specialization

Full-time (2 year) and part-time (3-year) options are available.

Students choose either a Clinical Practice or an Organizational Community Leadership (OCL) area of specialization.
