NASW-MI Students of the Year

Each year the National Association of Social Workers, Michigan chapter recognizes outstanding students from each accredited social work program in Michigan. The students are chosen for their outstanding academic achievement, commitment to the Code of Ethics, leadership on and off campus, political and legislative engagement, and contribution to a positive image of the social work profession.

The 2022 NASW-MI Students of the Year from Michigan State University are Emily Cohen, BASW and Sterling Bentley, MSW. The students were honored at a ceremony on April 8, 2022.
