Atticus Solomon (they/them) earned a BSW from Eastern Michigan University in 2018. They spent some time working as a foster care caseworker before completing an MSW with a research specialty from the University of Michigan in 2021. Before starting their PhD program, Atticus worked as a data coordinator for Children Trust Michigan and the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center. They spend a lot of time volunteering and thus have invested interest in community-based initiatives and research.
