Jennifer (she/her/hers) earned a B.A. in Psychology and Creative Writing & Literature from the University of Michigan and an M.S.W. in Clinical Social Work from MSU. She enrolled in the Social Work Ph.D. program at MSU in 2018. In her research, she focuses on sexual minority/LGBQIA+ adolescents and adults, and her main interest is cumulative violence exposure across the lifespan (including intimate partner violence, sexual violence, identity-based violence, etc.), mental health outcomes and help-seeking behaviors after exposure to violence.
