Why do I need a Community ID?
Why do I need a Community Id for online purchases?
Michigan State University offers an online payment solution that was recently updated. As part of this update, enhanced security measures were implemented requiring users accessing the system to have a MSU Community ID. This security enhancement will better protect customers and the University from fraud and other cyber-crime.
Why do I need two different accounts for this site?
Unfortunately, the School of Social Work Continuing Education Registration system was unable to transition all of its existing customers, and their course history, without first enhancing the system to accommodate the new online payment system. We are now asking all existing and new customers to create their Community ID so we can begin to transition back to a single account system. We ask for your patience during this time. We will make every effort to complete this transition in a timely manner!
Expect a confirmation via email one week before the event.
