Our Panelists

Cyndi Gallegos

Cyndi Gallegos, LLMSW, is a first-generation Mexican-American who has experience in empowering clients of different backgrounds. She is the Vice President of Healers of Color Collaborative of Michigan; a Clinical therapist at Nedra Cannon & Associates; and an honored alumna of MSU's MSW program (2019). Cyndi has supervised clinicians in an acute partial hospitalization program and outpatient setting. She has supported first-generation college students with navigating college and cultural experiences and provided hands-on support with daily living activities to people with developmental disabilities.

Katie ColemanKatie Coleman, LMSW, is a Geriatric LMSW. She graduated from Michigan State University with her BASW in 2015 and her MSW in 2016. She currently works at PACE Southeast Michigan as a Behavioral Health Specialist. She is also a Mental Health First Aid Trainer and teaches fellow licensed social work professionals for the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan with a focus on Chronic Pain Management. Christine SuChristine Su is a project manager at UC Berkley, where she manages and coordinates projects in community and global health, as well as other policy work related to sexual and reproductive health of adolescents. She graduated from the University of Michigan's MSW program in 2015. Christine is a returned peace corps volunteer and served in Ukraine, where she worked on initiatives involving AIDS/HIV, and in Tanzania, where she conducted research on adolescent sexual and reproductive health. Brittany MassaBrittany Massa graduated from MSU’s School of Social Work with a Bachelors degree in 2014 and a Masters degree with a focus in Clinical Work in 2018. She has been a foster care case manager at Ingham County Department of Health and Human Services since June 2014 in various capacities, including as a foster care and family recovery court specialist, a foster care supervisor, and a lead foster care worker.
