Geriatric Education Center of Michigan
GECM is a federally funded, statewide consortium located at MSU that includes: MSU College of Human Medicine; MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine; MSU College of Nursing; MSU School of Social Work; MSU College of Communication Arts; MSU Extension; Grand Valley State University; University of Michigan School of Dentistry; Wayne State University Institute of Gerontology; and the Michigan Public Health Institute. The GECM also collaborates with other organizations and agencies within the state.

The MSU School of Social Work, together with the Association for Children's Mental Health, is now an NIMH Outreach Partner through the National Institute of Mental Health's Office of Constituency Relations and Public Liaison. The Outreach Partnership Program focuses on training and dissemination. It works to increase the public's access to science-based mental health information and enhance opportunities for the public to benefit from participation in research. More information>>
